automated value analysis workflow

Our Mission

DLG’s vision is to be the trusted automated value analysis workflow solution for hospitals to enhance their supply chain process as they seek to deliver greater efficiencies in reducing supply costs.

About Us

Since our inception, Data Leverage Group has been focused on developing robust automated value analysis workflows for value analysis and supply chain professionals.

DLG exists because we believe that healthcare supply chain professionals need flexible solutions to meet their numerous and ever-changing operational workflows. Most software tool companies try to convince clients to adopt their traditional “out of the box” approach with little or no adaptability to the client’s operation. DLG thinks differently. We know that when clients are forced to compromise their needs in order to utilize any software tool, long term success is not possible.

DLG takes the reverse approach…

Automated Value Analysis Workflow

Our flexible and highly adaptable VAMS program enables our customers to achieve the ultimate goal of having an extensively automated value analysis workflow tool. With DLG and VAMS, it is not only possible, its expected.

Automated Value Analysis Workflow – The Challenge

Engaging supply chain and clinical value analysis to consistently utilize a workflow software tool is challenging. There are 2 primary reasons why users resist utilization:

Change

The perception is that no “new” software will be able to match up with my daily routine. Therefore, this ultimately means, “more work for me”.

The integration challenge

Users already have multiple software tools that they are being asked to utilize in their daily work and adding one more tool that won’t integrate means “more work for me”.

Why choose DLG?

If you’re organization is ready for an automated value analysis workflow tool to finally organize the various workflows within your operation, then we’re ready to roll up our sleeves and help you.

Tailored Solutions, Real Workflow Transformation

In today’s healthcare landscape, hospitals and health systems are expected to deliver more value with fewer resources. Supply chain leaders and value analysis teams are under constant pressure to evaluate new products, improve processes, and reduce costs—often with limited staff and time. An automated value analysis workflow is no longer a luxury; it is a core requirement for hospitals that want to remain efficient, compliant, and competitive.

Unfortunately, many organizations still rely on disconnected systems like spreadsheets, email threads, and paper-based approvals. These outdated methods make it difficult to track progress, share information, and ensure accountability. Tasks get lost, deadlines slip, and critical savings opportunities can be overlooked. Without a centralized approach, collaboration between supply chain and clinical teams often suffers, creating bottlenecks that slow innovation.

VAMS® was created by Data Leverage Group to solve these challenges and transform how hospitals approach value analysis. The platform is designed with adaptability in mind, providing workflows that align with each organization’s existing processes while adding automation and visibility. From the moment a product request is submitted to the final approval, VAMS® captures each step, stores every document, and keeps all stakeholders informed.

Built-in messaging reduces reliance
on fragmented email chains.

By automating routine steps, VAMS® reduces administrative burden and allows teams to focus on the work that truly impacts outcomes. Instead of chasing down information or reconciling conflicting documents, staff can concentrate on evaluating products, engaging with stakeholders, and implementing initiatives that improve care delivery. This level of clarity helps leadership teams understand where bottlenecks exist and how to address them proactively.

Measurable Outcomes That Move the Needle

Hospitals that have implemented VAMS® report substantial improvements in both operational efficiency and financial results. Project cycle times are reduced, meaning new products and processes are approved and implemented faster. Automated workflows eliminate redundant tasks, freeing valuable time for staff to focus on strategic priorities. The system’s analytics tools provide leadership with a clear picture of where savings are being achieved and where new opportunities exist.

Beyond the numbers, hospitals also experience qualitative benefits. Teams communicate more effectively because they are all working from the same up-to-date information. Accountability improves, as everyone can see who is responsible for each step. Vendor relationships strengthen when hospitals can provide clear data-driven feedback and transparent timelines for implementation. This creates a positive cycle: vendors deliver better service, which supports hospitals in meeting their objectives more efficiently.

VAMS® also supports compliance initiatives by maintaining complete records of decisions, approvals, and supporting documentation. This audit-ready environment reduces risk and ensures that organizations can respond quickly to regulatory inquiries. The system’s scalability means that as your hospital grows or processes evolve, VAMS® can adapt without disrupting established workflows. Additional modules or custom fields can be added as needed, so the platform grows alongside your organization.

Take the Next Step

Modern hospitals can’t afford to rely on workflows that can’t keep up. VAMS® provides the tools to bring clarity, structure, and measurable improvement to value analysis initiatives. By adopting an automated value analysis workflow, your organization can elevate its supply chain strategy, drive efficiencies, and achieve tangible savings. Hospitals implementing VAMS® often share stories of staff satisfaction improving, as employees spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time on meaningful projects.

Why Hospital Supply Chains Need a Smarter Strategy

The pace of change in healthcare is relentless. New products enter the market quickly, clinical needs shift, and financial pressures mount. Relying on manual tools or outdated systems can leave hospitals vulnerable to inefficiency and missed opportunities. A smarter strategy involves implementing an automated value analysis workflow that unifies data, tasks, and stakeholders. In many cases, hospitals discover that their existing processes hide unnecessary steps or duplicated efforts that can be eliminated with the right software.

VAMS® delivers exactly that—transforming fragmented workflows into cohesive, automated processes. Instead of wasting time tracking down emails or reconciling spreadsheets, your team operates within a single platform that keeps everyone aligned. This enhanced visibility leads to better decisions, faster responses to clinical requests, and more impactful cost savings initiatives. Over time, the data collected can inform broader organizational strategies, helping leaders identify trends and plan future investments with greater accuracy.
